AMARAVATI, August 15, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu called on people to work towards making both Andhra Pradesh and India the world's leading destinations by 2047, as he addressed the state's 80th Independence Day celebrations at the Parade Ground in Nelapadu village, Amaravati.

Addressing the gathering, Naidu said India had achieved Independence 80 years ago and urged citizens to use the next two decades to build a stronger and more prosperous country and state.
