Who we are
Vizag eNews (vizagenews.com and the Vizag eNews Android/iOS apps) is a news service owned and operated by Tata Shyam Kumar ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the service handles.
No accounts, no sign-in
Vizag eNews has no reader accounts. You never provide a name, phone number, email address or password to read the news.
What the apps store on your device
Your language choice, theme, text-size preference and bookmarked articles are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, the app registers an anonymous device token (issued by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) together with your chosen language so we can send news alerts in that language. This token identifies the device installation, not you. Disable notifications in your device settings at any time; invalid tokens are deleted automatically.
Server logs
Like most websites, our servers keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, requested page, time) for security and troubleshooting. They are not used for profiling or advertising.
Third-party services
Push delivery uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Google fonts are loaded on the website from Google Fonts. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Children
The service is a general-audience news product and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
