Vadarevu Fishing Harbour Project Revived After Three-Decade Delay

The long-pending Vadarevu Fishing Harbour project in Andhra Pradesh has gained fresh momentum after remaining stalled for more than three decades. The state government has accelerated work on the harbour with the aim of strengthening marine infrastructure, improving facilities for fishermen, and boosting the coastal economy.

Officials said the project is expected to increase seafood exports, generate employment, and provide modern infrastructure for fishing communities. The revival of the harbour is also expected to improve logistics and support the overall development of the state's coastal belt.
