AP Cabinet Approves New Industrial Parks, Defers Decision on Vacant Government Posts

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has approved the implementation framework for six priority industrial parks under the Centre's Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA). The parks will be developed through the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) with the aim of attracting investments, boosting manufacturing, and creating employment opportunities across the state.

The Cabinet also deferred a decision on filling 3,120 vacant government posts, directing departments to conduct a detailed review and submit revised proposals before recruitment is taken up. In addition, the government reviewed preparations for the Madanapalle Horticulture Hub and the Polavaram Project, with the Chief Minister stressing timely execution of key development initiatives.
