Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu receives major legal relief while calling for the state and India to become number one by 2047.

AMARAVATI, August 15, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu received a major legal relief in the Amaravati land-pooling case after the Supreme Court dismissed a challenge to the Andhra Pradesh High Court order that had quashed the criminal case against him and former minister P Narayana. On the same day, Naidu used his 80th Independence Day address in Amaravati to outline a long-term development vision for Andhra Pradesh and India.
