Visakhapatnam Port Authority announced a record quarter with 21.8 million tonnes of cargo handled, a 12 percent jump over last year. Iron ore exports and container traffic led the growth.
The port is also expanding its container terminal capacity, with new cranes expected to be operational by early next year.
